Students from multiple countries in the region participated in courses illustrating the importance of Market Research as well as an introduction to Negotiation Phases and Techniques, followed by extensive real world negotiation exercises. The training sessions allowed students to expand their negotiation capability, and broaden their perspective relative to multi-national negotiation scenarios.

BOSS supported training sessions in the Czech Republic and Latvia for the International Defense Acquisition Resource Management Program. 


Military officers and civilian procurement officials from five NATO nations participated in the Riga, Latvia sessions, which covered such topics as:

BOSS has supported multiple clients in the Czech Republic.  These training and working group sessions have included Procurement Policy and Planning, Enhancement of Competition and Transparency, and Sourcing Methodologies

Additional sessions in the Czech Republic focused on managing the deployment preparation of Czech forces to meet forward based field operation procurement and logistics challenges.

The course topics included Linking Contracting to Security Objectives; Local Supplier Challenges in a Deployed Environment; Pre-deployment Contracting and Logistics; Contracting for performance; and Multinational Logistics Challenges.
